Happy New Year from Survival Garden Seeds!

As we wrap up 2023 and welcome the fresh start that 2024 brings, all of us at Survival Garden Seeds want to extend our warmest wishes for a Happy New Year to all of you. While it's cold outside and quiet in the garden, we're still bustling with work in our seed shop. Spring is right around the corner, with its promise of renewal and hope, and many of you will be planning out your yearly garden soon. We're gearing up to supply you with reliable heirloom seeds for your garden, practical education for success, and lots of fun in the year ahead!

Reflecting on Our 2023 Journey

Garden filled with herbs and flowers

The New Year is also a perfect time to look at what we've accomplished in 2023, including what worked and what didn't. The past year has been a remarkable journey. In 2023, the Survival Garden Seeds shop has added over 100 vegetable, herb, flower, grain, and microgreen seed varieties to our catalog. We've also curated some amazing collections that make planning a garden and shopping for seeds easy. Our team is especially proud of our newly launched Ultimate Medicinal Collection, with 36 essential, easy-to-grow herbs for natural wellness. This collection has created quite a buzz around here, and we think you'll love adding these varieties to your garden.

Our team and community have grown, too. As we work hard to keep up with your enthusiastic support, we've become more adaptable and added more help around the shop and to our online team. We've also begun collaborating with amazing gardening experts from all over the USA. Survival Garden Seeds has also partnered with Regenerative Farming Expert William DeMille to support his weekly Q&A sessions.

Most of all, we like to think we've made a difference. We've helped so many people grow gardens, feed their families, become self-reliant, and embrace a more natural and healthy way of life. We love hearing your stories of triumphs and challenges in the garden, seeing your social media images of your baby seedlings all the way to harvest, and hearing your feedback about how we can better support your goals.

Looking Forward to a Year of Growth

The quiet of winter is also a great time to plan for what we hope to see in the days ahead. As we step into 2024, our commitment to providing you with the highest quality heirloom seeds and expert gardening advice remains steadfast. We'll be introducing new varieties, sharing innovative gardening tips, and generally supporting you in your gardening journey -- whether that's starting your first small window herb garden or working a large, multi-acre farm. Some exciting prospects are in the works, so stay tuned for new developments in the months ahead.

As you look ahead, we hope you continue to embrace your love of gardening and add to your survival skills. Whether it's trying a new vegetable variety, experimenting with companion planting, or starting a compost pile, every small step contributes to a healthier, more sustainable future.

Recommitting to Our Core Values

We're an American family-owned small business on a mission to be a light in today's world by helping people become more self-reliant by growing gardens. Our whole team worked together to create that mission statement, and we stand by it. Our community is our strength. Your feedback and success stories are so gratifying to us. We're eager to hear more from you in 2024.

We're always looking for sustainable ways to help everyone learn to do this gardening thing on their own. That's why we include seed-saving instructions on the back of every packet. As you choose the best plants to save seeds from your garden, the next generation of plants will be more adapted to your particular growing conditions. You'll spread the word about how rewarding this whole gardening thing is, and we also know you'll want to experiment with other varieties. All this leads to less reliance on the grocery store and processed foods, more biodiversity in our gardens, less pollution, and a healthier way of life!

Gratitude and Best Wishes

Happy New Year

As we begin the new year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and enthusiasm. Your passion for gardening motivates us to do better every day. Here's to a year filled with lush gardens, bountiful harvests, and the joy of growing together.
