    Sow seeds directly in the garden after soil has warmed to 65°F or start indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Plant in a location with well drained soil rich in organic matter, spacing plants 12-16" apart.

    Pick seed heads after most petals have been dropped from the flowers. Hang upside down in paper bag. Once seeds have dried, crush and separate seeds from plant debris. Label and store in a dark dry space for up to 5 years.
