How Survival Garden Seeds Began
In the Spring of 2020, widespread food shortages and other events came to a head. Modern reliance on the supply chain means that even minor disruptions can bring devastating consequences. Survival Garden Seeds was founded with the hope of bringing a sense of stability and peace of mind to everyone we can in an affordable and practical way–by empowering more people to grow a garden.
About Our Seed Catalog
The varieties we carry have been chosen for reliability, productivity, and usefulness. We consider carefully before adding a seed to our store, ensuring that it’s a good fit for our audience of homesteaders, preppers, and gardeners. Every garden and gardener is different, so we try to carry something for everyone to enjoy growing.
Seed Quality & Standards
All of our seeds are non-GMO, heirloom, and open-pollinated. We do not carry hybrid or pretreated seeds. We do ongoing seed germination testing to ensure quality and reliability.
Our Unique Seed Packet Design
The Survival Garden Seeds individual seed packet was designed with survival preparedness in mind. Each packet has basic growing and seed-saving information on the back, no internet connection needed.
Seed Collections
We offer seed collections for everyone from novice to master gardener. We are proud of every garden we foster, whether it’s a modest windowsill herb garden or a full-scale homestead plot. We carry full garden kits, emergency seed vaults, and many specialty collections curated to work well together. Our collections include fruits and vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, beautiful flowers, soil-enriching cover crops, easy-to-grow microgreens, and more.
