INTRODUCING ST. JOHN'S WORT SEEDS

St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a perennial herb with origins in Europe. It is also known as Klamath weed or goatweed. Today this herb is grown worldwide and flourishes in USDA hardiness zones 3 to 10. Typically, this plant will reach 1 to 3 feet in height. It has bright yellow, star-shaped flowers that bloom from late spring to early fall, offering a striking ornamental addition to gardens.

PLANTING ST. JOHN'S WORT SEEDS

Start St. John's Wort seeds indoors, 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. They can be directly sown outdoors in fall for spring growth. Cold stratification is recommended for 4 to 6 weeks before planting. When planting, barely cover seeds with soil as light is necessary for successful germination.
