If you want to move to a more natural, healthy, and simple lifestyle, we’d like to introduce you to our favorite soap company: Southern Natural.

A Close Knit Family

family

Daryl and Jason are especially excited to introduce you to this company because the owner is their sister, Jeri Anne! Growing up, the whole family worked together in the garden and made some wonderful memories. Years of playing, laughing, working, and growing together formed tight bonds between these siblings, and they are still very close today.

A More Natural Lifestyle

Jeri Anne

Another reason to love Southern Natural is that Jeri Anne’s handmade goat’s milk soaps are natural, healthy, and healing. The Southern Natural story is a testament to the power of living a more natural and simple life. Jeri Anne suffered from painful rashes and sensitive skin for her whole life. Goat’s milk soap finally allowed her skin some relief. Her dry skin improved and her rash disappeared. Eventually, she decided to share the blessing of her discovery with others.

Why Goat’s Milk Soap?

Today, Southern Natural sells a line of cold processed goat’s milk soaps. The gentle formulas help the skin to retain its own moisture barrier and to heal from within. You can choose from those scented with essential oils or unscented soaps for those with extra sensitive skin. The essential oils all have various healing properties, and the plant oils add hydration to the formula. Goat’s milk adds natural fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and protein to the recipe, which helps both nourish and exfoliate the skin.

Southern Natural Goats Milk Soap

Southern Natural soaps contain zero petroleum products, harsh detergents, or other harmful substances or chemicals that can strip the skin of its natural oils and harm its moisture barrier.

Small Town Operations

The family-owned and operated small business is located in the small town of Oneonta, Alabama. Jeri Anne’s family works together to run the various aspects of the business. There’s even a nursery in the workshop for the grandbabies! There’s a lot to do, including making, cutting, and packaging the soap.

Southern Natural soaps can be found online and in local shops regionally in the Southeast United States.
