How to Grow:
Sow seeds directly in the garden or in deep containers once the soil can be worked in spring. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep in loose, well-drained soil, keeping the surface moist until seedlings emerge. Thin to 1–2 inches apart for best root development.
Because Little Fingers matures quickly, plant in succession every few weeks to maintain a steady harvest. Provide full sun and even moisture for the sweetest roots.
Harvest & Use:
Harvest when carrots reach 3–4 inches long and hold a bright orange color. Pull gently or loosen with a fork if the soil is firm. These small, tender carrots are ideal for eating fresh, roasting, pickling, or preserving through canning. Their size and uniformity make them especially easy to prepare and process.
