    After all danger of frost, direct sow outdoors spring through autumn. Light is required for germination; scatter seeds onto soil and press in firmly. Keep seeds evenly moist through germination and thin once seedlings reach 2 inches.

    Seeds grow in small capsules behind the flowers and along the stems. Cut stems and gently remove seeds from these capsules. Dry for a couple of weeks and separate seeds from other plant matter. Label and store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 years.
