  • Growing Instructions
    Sow directly outside after last frost date in a sunny spot with soil that drains well. Cultivate top soil and firm over seed spaced 4-6 inches apart. Keep seeds moist but not saturated. Thin to 24 inches apart. Do not overwater mature plants.
  • Seed Saving Instructions
    After backside of flower begins to yellow, remove flower leaving a few inches of stalk. Hang upside down in a paper sack to dry. When seeds easily separate from flower head, rub them free with fingers. Spread in a single layer and dry. Choose the plumpest seeds for replanting. Label and store in a cool, dry place.
