Barley Seed - Bulk Pack

Packed by weight

To prevent damage in shipping our bulk grains are packed in an oversized bag. Each bag contains 2lbs of seed, but there may be significant empty space in the bag.

Bulk Barley seeds for planting in your home survival garden. Barley can be planted in a variety of seasons and performs well as a cover crop, as sprouts, and as animal fodder. Excellent for eating and long term storage.

  • Cover Crop - Whole unhulled barley is an excellent choice to grow as an annual grain cover crop. It performs well in a lot of climates compared to other cereal grains. Can be interplanted with legumes to enrich the soil and suppress weeds.

  • Animal and Human Food - Barley can be grown as animal feed, chicken fodder, cat grass, and as an edible cereal grain for humans. Barley stores well. Seeds can also be used for sprouting, malting, growing barley grass for juicing, or for grinding into flour.

  • Grow Now or Later - Plant now or store for future growing seasons. Will remain viable for years if stored in a cool dry location. Each bulk packet is sealed for long-term storage to save for a survival situation if needed.

  • Easy to Grow - Bulk grains chosen for best results for successful growing and germination in your own home vegetable garden. Getting started is simple for both beginner and experienced gardeners.

  • Quality Seeds - Safe, non-hybrid non-GMO heirloom seeds proudly sourced in the USA for your family to plant and grow for years to come. Open-pollinated, naturally grown and selected to ensure the best germination rates.

These seeds for planting in your family vegetable garden will help secure your family's food needs.

Busted bag

My seed bag was busted and over half of the seeds were in the bottom of the box. When the UPS man delivered, the seeds were wasting out of the bottom of the box. I saved what I could but now I may have barley growing in my front yard.
