What Makes Survival Garden Seeds Different - non-GMO heirloom seeds

Crackerjack marigolds (Tagetes erecta) are full sun annual plants that originate in Mexico. They make a great companion plant to tomatoes, cabbages, and more, making them the perfect staple for planting and growing in your family vegetable garden. They’re incredibly easy to grow in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens, and will attract beneficial insects to pollinate your vegetables and improve the overall health of your plants and garden.

  • Companion Planting Superstar Marigold - Crackerjack marigolds, sometimes called African marigolds, are drought tolerant yellow and orange annual flowers that are very easy to grow. They have a well-earned reputation for being excellent companions in the garden, especially when paired with tomato and basil. Marigold also serves as a good companion to broccoli, cucumbers, eggplant, gourds, kale, potatoes, squash, lettuce, pumpkins, squash, asparagus, and more.
  • Edible and Beautiful - Cracker Jack marigolds have showy double blooms in hues of vibrant yellow and orange. They’ll add a spark of color to the garden. The edible petals have a spiciness to them and a highly pungent scent. Trim the heels off the base of the petals to avoid the bitter flavor for best flavor.
