    Scarify and pre-soak seeds overnight for improved germination. Begin seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost date, or sow directly in garden after last spring frost. Space plants 18-24 inches apart in rich soil with plenty of organic material. Keep well watered during warm weather.

    Once seed pods have dried and turned brown, collect and spread out to dry for 1-2 weeks. Once fully dry, open pods to shake out seeds. Label and store seeds in a cool, dry place.
