What Makes Survival Garden Seeds Different - non-GMO heirloom seeds

Anise Seeds from Survival Garden Seeds produce a fragrant, flavorful annual herb prized for its sweet, licorice-like aroma and wide range of traditional uses. Anise (Pimpinella anisum) has been cultivated for centuries for its aromatic seeds and leaves, which are commonly used in cooking, baking, herbal teas, and traditional remedies.

Native to the Mediterranean region, anise thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and performs especially well in garden beds or containers. Its delicate umbrella-shaped white flowers add visual interest while attracting bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators. Both attractive and productive, anise is a valuable addition to culinary, medicinal, and pollinator-friendly gardens.

How to Use / How to Grow:
Sow anise seeds after the last frost in full sun and well-drained soil. Plant seeds shallowly and keep soil evenly moist during germination. Thin seedlings to allow good airflow. Harvest leaves as needed during the growing season. Allow flower heads to mature fully, then harvest seeds once dry. Container-grown plants can be moved indoors before frost to extend the growing season.
