What Makes Survival Garden Seeds Different - non-GMO heirloom seeds

Delicata Winter Squash is an heirloom winter squash that has been around since 1894. The 1-3 lb fruits store well, thanks to their hard yellow skin with green stripes. The sweet orange flesh inside has a high sugar content with a flavor similar to sweet potatoes.

  • Heirloom Winter Squash - A favorite since its introduction in 1894, Delicata has oblong fruits with speckled yellow skin that has green stripes. The small fruits reach 1-3 pounds and 5-10 inches long, excellent for roasting as a single serving.
  • Stores Well - These winter vegetables keep through the winter months, and may also be frozen or canned with ease. The hard skin protects the inner flesh, which has a high sugar content and a flavor similar to sweet potatoes.
