Feverfew Seeds - Bachelor’s Buttons
Survival Garden Seeds provides quality feverfew seeds for sale, so you can grow your own herbal remedy from your home garden. Our heirloom seeds are chosen for their strong germination rates and ability to produce resilient plants.
Feverfew has been in use for a long time in herbal medicine, with use dating back to Ancient Greece. Its leaves and flowers contain compounds that demonstrate anti-inflammatory properties. Feverfew is very adaptable, growing well in many climates. It can be grown in USDA hardiness zones 5 to 10 as a perennial plant. This is a versatile herb, ideal for medicinal herb gardens.
Sow feverfew seeds indoors in late winter to prepare seedlings for spring arrival. They can be sown directly in the garden in spring or fall. Plant the seeds just beneath the soil surface, allowing them access to light for proper germination. Maintain the soil moist until germination, which should begin at 10-14 days. Seedlings should be thinned out or transplanted to stand 12-18 inches apart, allowing full growth and spread.
Relatively low in maintenance, the feverfew plant requires little care once established. It can be tolerant of some shading, especially in hotter areas, but prefers full sun. Water the plants regularly to keep the soil evenly moist. Trim off dry blooms to encourage continued blooming. This is a good practice if you wish to prevent self-seeding as well.
With Survival Garden Seeds' feverfew seeds, it’s possible to cultivate a powerful herb. In addition to medicinal feverfew benefits, it’s a perfect candidate to introduce to your home, adding beauty and cottage garden charm as well.
