What Makes Survival Garden Seeds Different - non-GMO heirloom seeds

A mixture of perennial and annual wildflowers that will delight Monarch Butterflies and other pollinators visiting your garden. It contains a variety of wildflowers, garden flowers, and milkweeds of varying heights, colors, and bloom times giving butterflies nectar to eat and a place to lay eggs, while the caterpillar (larvae) of the monarch eats the leaves of the milkweed.

Included seeds are a mix of the following:
Annual Candytuft (Iberis umbellata), Butterfly Milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa), Dwarf Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus), Gayfeather (Liatris spicata), Hoary Vervain (Verbena stricta), Indian Blanket (Gaillardia pulchella), Marigold 'Naughty Marietta' (Tagetes patula), Mexican Sunflower (Tithonia rotundifolia), Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), Rocket Larkspur (Delphinium consolida), Siberian Wallflower (Cheiranthus allionii), Smooth Aster (Aster laevis), Sulphur Cosmos (Cosmos sulphureus), Zinnia (Zinnia elegans)

  • Attract Monarchs - This wildflower mix contains milkweed seeds that are the host plant for the orange monarch to lay its eggs and for the caterpillars to live on. This mix of perennial and annual flowers can be scattered in a meadow or planted in your outdoor pollinator garden to support conservation efforts and improve your local ecosystem.
  • Bees, Butterflies, Hummingbirds & Pollinators - Each of these packets contains a collection of native wildflowers, garden flowers, and milkweed that may help other wild bee, hummingbird, and other pollinators. This mixture contains a variety of bush, vine, and other types of flowers in various sizes, colors, and bloom times from spring to fall.
  • Cold Stratify for Better Germination - For best results, recreate winter conditions to prime the seeds for planting. For indoor seed starting, sprinkle seeds into a damp paper towel, roll up, and store in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks, then sow as usual. Stratification encourages seeds to sprout, giving you more young seedlings to become healthy plants
